The easiest crochet scarf pattern there is! No experience needed!

This is the easiest crochet scarf pattern I've ever done, and It's my own! I used Red Heart Pomp-a-Doodle to do this, but you could probably adapt it for any bulky yarn. This makes a thin scarf, but if you fold it in half and put the ends through the loop, it's perfect for winter! It only took me about 1 hour to complete! It only uses a chain stitch, so even someone who knows nothing about crochet can do it! If you have trouble figuring out how to start/finish off your yarn or how to chain, there are tons of tutorials on YouTube!

Materials
-1 skein Red Heart Pomp-a-Doodle
-Size L (8 mm) crochet hook
-(Optional) Size Q (15.75 mm) crochet hook

• Starting with the size L hook, you're going to chain 2 in between each pom. You're going to do this for the entirety of the skein. 
• Once you finish chaining the whole skein, you finish off by yarning over and pulling the strand through. Pull that strand tight.
• You're now going to start with either your hand or the size Q hook. Fold the entire length of yarn in half, and start your chain at the open end. Chain the entire length, when you get to the loop, just pull it through and tuck it into your chain to hide it. Trim the small strands of yarn that may be hanging off the scarf.
• You're done! You can either wear it as a light fall scarf, or double it up and stick the ends through the loop for really cold winter days.
• You can even make it into an infinity scarf by wrapping the end with the loop around the other end and hand sewing it with a needle and matching thread until it's secure!

First Post!

I'm new to this whole blogging thing, so I may not be that great at it. I will be posting D.I.Y. crafts and projects along with quilts. Quilts will be more sparse, obviously, but I have 3 in progress right now. There also might be some book reviews here and there. I work at the fabric and craft store, Hancock Fabrics, and I will start school for interior design in the fall. Better late than never, right?
